Hi, I'm Rob - a U.S. Navy veteran, freelance website designer, and the owner of The Website Guy in Lino Lakes, Minnesota. My wife, Lin, and I run the business together, and we're passionate about helping small businesses succeed online.
My journey into website design started in 2005 when I built my first website for a financial advisor. In 2009, I created another website for one of my wife's bookkeeping clients - a property management company that's still a client today. As more businesses found me through referrals, what began as a side business grew into a full-time career. In 2013, after earning my degree in Business Management and Marketing, I officially launched The Website Guy.
I've always believed that good design is about more than making something look nice. It should solve problems, build trust, and help a business grow. I've always had an artist's mind and a servant's heart, and I enjoy helping small business owners who know they need a professional website but don't have the time - or the desire - to build one themselves.
When you work with me, you're not working with a salesperson or a project manager. You're working directly with the person designing and building your website from start to finish.
